I got tagged?

Travis Inman tagged me, so now I have to share 7 things about myself. I'm not certain how this is supposed to work, but here it goes: (mine will never be as interesting as Travis' - check his out!)

1. I played drums for many years.
2. My dad did a mission to Africa for two years.
3. My Grandad is a retired preacher.
4. I was born in Colorado.
5. I love Survivor!
6. I've only left the United States to cross the border of Mexico.
7. I've never been shot. hee hee

I'm tagging:
Gabby
So your face is telling me so
Nancy
Have fun!

I'm only going to tag a couple, so if you want to play, link back to me and then tag some others!

You aren't boring! There is no way anyone can design the really cool effects on your blog and be called boring. I'm not so much into music, and that usually freeks people out, but I have to admit that I'm fascinated by the goth world. Is that what you identify with? Or do you fit into a different realm?

And, as a Texan I'm obligated to say this, Colorado is a fine state. You know, it once belonged to the Great State of Texas and we are all the prouder for it!

Lynn - I loved your tag post!
Travis - you’re my new favorite! Thanks for all your comments . . .to answer your question, I love goth, metal, and rock. . .I don't think I am identified by them. If you met me you'd think I was quite normal, but yes, my roots/heart are in rock/metal/goth. I was really into it before I gave my life to Christ. Then I stepped totally away from it and the person that I was. Then later I found that there is a whole community that Love Jesus and are still rockers/goth. . .and I way to use my past and my present to glorify God.
I can't believe you are "not so much into music" That is truly cool. Just another interesting fact about Travis.

It must be strange to people that I don't find that much satisfaction in music. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but I want it in small doses. Sometimes, when I'm facing a difficult writing passaged, I'll put some classical music in the background. But for the most part, I'm satisfied with about 20 minutes of music, and then I'm ready to move on to something else. Want to know something else? I could spend 12 to 14 hours listening to those old time radio shows, you know the dramas and comedy shows. I love those and can't get enough. Maybe I am a little wierd!

This is so funny -- it's like a big circle of interconnected blogs. When a virus -- THE TAGGING -- is introduced, it goes everywhere! How neat.

I for one love this circle. GzuzFreek, how cool that your family was into ministry! To Africa? Wow.

Travis - you're interesting, not weird! Old time radio shows? Like variety shows? stories? news casts?

Lynn - Yup! Survivor! I have only missed a couple episodes since it started in 2000! Every week I tape it and watch it on Saturday! (Way to go Bob. . .I loved Sugar.) Poor girl. You should totally go on that show!

Amy - tagging virus hee hee -love it! Yeah, I like the blogging circle too! It seems to be getting bigger. . .thanks for the comments!

Travis said...

Not by internet, but by XM radio. I also purchased the radio series on Ebay. You can buy anything but booze and guns on Ebay!
