BLOG DAYS OF SUMMER by KM Wilsher

BLOG DAYS OF SUMMER: Summer Songs
Looking back at favorite songs from summers gone by. . .

Michael Jackson: Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough July 1779 (click to play the you tube video)

This song touched me back in the day. I wasn't the biggest Michael Jackson fan, but this song helped shape my young heart's love for music and dance.

The disco age. At the summer National Youth's Sports Program I took disco dance and could not get enough of this song!

May the Lord bless and keep you.

And, on this Summer Songs' post, let's not forget the Jacksons and the families of:

Farrah
and Ed
You all are in our prayers.

What's your favorite MJ song? Line from Charlie's Angels? Tonight Show funny?

It's so funny how Michael Jackson's death received so much publicity all day despite the fact that a struggling actress tried to beat the cancer that ran rampant through her body and eventually lost.

Her efforts are more heroic than the passing of someone who never found happiness in anything he pursued. I am sorry he is gone, but we have to be sensitive to all the others as well.

I agree, Kat. I see him everywhere.

My Blog days of summer "summer songs" is about songs from summers gone by and just happened to fall on this day after. . .That's why MJ's first. I don't at all see the fairness in his picture EVERYWHERE and Ed - who probably did more "popular" things than most and Farrah (she's only a couple years younger than my mom) too. . .

My heart goes out to their families. . .I was not a big fan of any of them really, but they are all three a part of my pop culture childhood and it is surreal to see them pass. . .

Hugs and love to you, Kat! Thank you so, so much for stopping by and chatting with me. You are the best!

All, I put my "real first summer song post" on hold and threw this memorial together.

It just got me thinking how short and fragile this life is.

I hope that if you don't believe in Jesus, you will speak to him today and ask Him to show you the truth.

Most of you do believe and, if you are reading this - write and walk on brother and sisters.
