I've been sick for awhile and couldn't be on the computer, but of course yours is the first I'm checking now that I'm better. lol

Hmm. A Bible teacher? This'll sound silly, but Mr. Whitacker from Adventures in Odyssey. haha

I'd like to hang with Jeff Gerke, too. I listened to an interview with Toska Lee, and she sounds really cool. Her book, Demon: A Memoir, is stuck somewhere near the top of my "to read" list.

I am soooo glad you feel better, Chris! Was it the flu?

Mr. Whitacker? What a great pic! I hadn't thought about that!

Tosca spoke to our writer's group Christian Writers of the West in December 2009. She is amazing. The biggest thing I took away from her session was her BIG/BOLD faith. I pray I can be half as full of Jesus as she!

Are you entering Genesis? Its coming up. I am trying to get Cobra ready!

It was a bit of everything, KM. Me and my mom were both hit pretty bad. I bounced right back, though, and my mom is starting to get better.

I saw something about that visit on the CWOW blog when I was checking Rattler results. How awesome! What a cool experience!

I just joined ACFW. Mainly for the Genesis, but also for the interaction. I've been peeking at my Rattler feedback and planning a strategy for my edits. I'll kick things into gear here pretty soon.

Uh-oh, I'm going up against Cobra? There's no way I'll win. :P

You poor things. I hope your mom recovers quickly!

I am so glad you will enter Genesis! You really do have a great story from what I've read. And you have a leg up on everyone, with all the critiques you are getting!

I wouldn't worry about Cobra -- ATH will soar! Cobra is RAW. . .not sure it will be too clean by then either, but I am going to enter this year! :)

The top 3 Bible teachers in my life have been people I've known on a personal level -- Father Dermot, a former priest at a local church, Pastor Thaddeus, a baptist minister at a local church, and Capt. Alex, a former Salvation Army pastor in my hometown.

They've all helped me put faith in perspective.

Who do I think would be fun to hang out with? I've met a lot of famous people. Most aren't all they're cracked up to be. But I think you and Lynn Rush would be lots of fun.
