Top 10 minus 7 BOOKS THAT VISIT

***********
Top Ten Lists. They are everywhere and have been for weeks.

Then I think, "10 is easy, how about 3?!"

So here it goes 10 days of Top Ten Lists minus 7!

Wow, we only have ten days so I am going to have to put up two lists per post from here on out.
************

The top 3 books that "visit" me. They may not be my favs, but they were good books and they "visit" me from time to time.

1 * Bellwether by Connie Willis
Science Fiction- A corporation finds a way to predict new fads.

2 * Pope Patrick by Peter de Rosa
Humorous Fiction - The first Irish Pope turns the Vatican upside down.

3 * Sarah: A Novel (Book One of the Canaan Trilogy) by Marek Halter
Historical Fiction- A story about the wife of one of the most famous men in history, Father Abraham.

Top 3 travel destinations
Ireland, Machu picchu, Alaska (for the whales)

Do you have 3 books that "visit" you from time to time, not necassarily your fav, but up there?

How about your top 3 travel destinations?

Bellwether sounds interesting. For some reason, the description makes "So Yesterday" by Scott Westerfeld pop into my head.

Ah...another to add to my to-read list!

I haven't heard of any of those books. Guess I better get reading! Books that "visit" me? Hmm... The scriptures, Tamora Pierce's Bloodhound series and Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.

I haven't been to any of your travel destinations, but I would love to! My top three would be Edinburgh, Prague and Rome.

I could never pick just three books. That's like picking favorite children.

Destinations, however, are a different story. I'm not much of a traveler, but there are some incredible places right in my "back yard."

1. Black Hills, S.D.
2. St. Louis, Mo.
3. And (this is more of a journey than destination) driving down Highway 281 in Nebraska.
