Top 10 minus 7 MOVIE SCENES THAT HAUNT

Top Ten Lists. "10 is easy, how about 3?!"

10 days of Top Ten Lists minus 7!

Movies scenes/characters that haunt me. . .

THE MESSENGER, communion scene - When Joan of Arc can't get enough of her love for Jesus, she drinks an entire silver cup of wine.

THE MISSING, Kate Blanchet's man is killed. Later that same day she goes to his bed in the barn, the covers are still warm.

AMEDEUS, Antonio Salieri, a man with great talent of his own, but who is driven to near-insane jealousy over the genius he recognizes in Wolfgang Mozart.

KM's top 3 artists
Boris Vallejo
(his clean stuff!)(Art below by Boris; from Photobucket),
Salvador Dali,
My dad

How about you, are there some movie scenes that pop into your head frequently?

Do you have a favorite artist?

OMG...The Missing is FANTASTIC! I've seen it tons of times and it's great each time.

I was just talking about this last night with my CCD kids. The movie that always gets me is Schindler's List.

That is the only movie that has ever given me nightmares. Steven Spielberg did such a wonderful job in making the viewer feel compassion for the Jewish people and making the Nazi party's hate for them real. The ghetto massacre scene is what really rips at my insides, to think that humanity can be so ugly...

The other movies that also pop into my mind are Frailty with Bill Paxton and Matthew McConnaughey (it's very twisted) and The Green Mile with Tom Hanks. But those movies don't compare to the impact Schindler's List has had on me.

As far as artists, I'm a fan of Edvard Munch's "The Scream," as well as Sandro Del Prete and Escher.
