Purple Moons and the Hero's Kiss

What will you be doing this Sunday? Valentine's Day.

LET THEM EAT CAKE!
Each year some girls and I get together at the Cheesecake Factory. Some years we swap gifts. This year we won't. Boyfriends or not, we hang for an hour or two and eat cake!

Oh, and tell me, what is your favorite on screen kiss?

Here is one of mine:

Favorite on-screen kiss??? What a great question, but I don't know... there are so many wonderful movie-kiss moments - I could make a top 100 list!
Oh, but I won't. :-)
Okay - how about - Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard as Holly and Paul in Breakfast at Tiffany's - at the end in the rain with the soaked cat snuggled up in between them. Yeah. Like that one.
And pretty much any moment between Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan. :-)
Golly, I'll probably be thinking about this one all day!
Enjoy eating cake!

Kisses? Ew, ick!

When a movie gets kissy, that's when I take a bathroom break.....

when a movie gets kissy, that's when my poor son (who hates romance) always seems to walk into the room. never fails. poor kid. my fav... gosh, i have a few.
- Aragorn and Arwen at the end of Return of the King
- Paul and Victoria in A Walk in Clouds, just after the wine pressing scene.
- Jake and Neteri in Avatar
- too many others to list. i'm a sucker for kissing scenes.

I am so "not" a kissing-scene kind of person. That said, I love the final New Year's Eve scene in my fave-ever movie, When Harry Met Sally. I know--strange favorite movie for someone not into romances.

I am not a big kissy, romantic, love story gal, but I do feel
Love is at least a small part of every story :0)

See, Kat, even us non-romantics, action loving, conflict junkies have some secret places for romance. . .Harry Met Sally? That is one of the biggest love stories hee hee.

Nissa, you must already have enough romance in your life hee hee. That is okay, well pause the movie until you get back LOL jk!

Lori, lets make a top 100 list for next year!

Michelle, good choices!

Mmmmm. CAKE!!! Love that stuff.

I'm not sure on the fav kissing scene in a movie. There are so many movies to choose from.

It's like when someone asks me my favorite movie. My brain freezes. LOL.

I'd say Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore. that kiss on the baseball field was pretty good. :-)

LOL, I'd probably have to join the ew, ick! category.

Though I'm a bit of a sucker of the chivalrous courtly love, where the knight brushes his lips on the back of the maiden's hand.
(I think in Ivanhoe 1980s version?)
