Top two fictional characters 2010

Top two fictional characters 2010

Tony Stark

I love his flaws that are contrasted with his need to good, which really may be an arrogant adreniline rush or a good heart. Either way, I love Tony Stark!

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III

I love Hiccup's extreme lack of self esteem which slowly, and brilliantly disappears after meeting a Night Fury!

CINEMA SOUND OFF with Lynn Rush and KM Wilsher

TRUE GRIT

KM’s Review: I received a couple laughs from this movie. At one point, Jeff Bridges' character tosses some kids off the porch. Didn't hurt the boys. Very funny. There were couple other humorous parts, but all in all I didn't enjoy this movie.

You know those annoying old, drunk men who cannot stop talking about themselves? Well that was Bridges character, and I felt like I was strapped down and forced to listen to him for two hours.

There were many scenes that were so grandiose! Long monologues by Jeff Bridges that didn't move the story forward. And Matt Damon? What's up? I thought he was finally growing as an actor. I wish he would have drawn on his performance in Geronimo: An American Legend. I thought he did well there.

The lack of contractions is admirable, true to the time. No can'ts, don'ts or shant's. But none of the actors made it natural, except maybe the female lead.

And the ending was like: Ok. That's it. We are done now.

The freshest thing about this film was the female lead {Though I am afraid she appeared good because the rest of it was sooo bad} AND Barry Pepper. He did a great job playing the dirty devil outlaw. . .no Hollywood cowboy there, true to the times, believable. A raw, ugly, chilling outlaw.

KM's rating:

Sorry. I am sure there was a lot of work done on True Grit. But I give:

1 ticket –Don’t go see it. Give your ticket away

What do you say? Have you seen it?
Now, come with me and Catch the Rush. . .at http://www.lynnrush.com/ to see what Lynn Rush has to say.

KM's Top Ten moments in 2010

TOP TEN MOMENTS IN 2010

A little late for top ten lists from 2010, but, since its the second month of Twilight Zone 2011, lets do it anyway!

I am more open and vibrant after 2010 than I have been in a long time. I started dating again, exercising, and broadcast my testimony regarding my struggle with drugs and alcohol via the world wide web!! I am coming into my own, comfortable in my skin.

Take a look at the top ten moments and you will see why 2010 made me anew, strong, open . . .and alive!

I
In the Spring. I know God whispered to me, "Take my hand, you will be going places." I have only heard a clear message from God three or four times in my life. That moment He stood so near. . . .I felt His presence. 2010 year has been crazy good for me, but not without crazy pain. But I hold his hand, and the list that follows just scratches the surface of the places He took me. [Already 2011 is proving to be just as exciting!]

II
April 2010 My first publication. It was the first story I sent out and The Cross and the Cosmos picked it up! SUICIDAL INSTINCT by KM Wilsher  {link on  the top of the sidebar here --- >

III
I entered my first contest, Genesis. I threw my high world fantasy story: COBRA CUTLASS in the ring {click here to read the summary}. And even though I didn't make the top four, two of the three judges gave Cobra a perfect score!  {Back Cover Blurb for Cobra Cutlass by KM Wilsher: Evil stalks with iron jaws, the time for J.R. to find her purpose is now.}

IV
November 2010 The Cross and the Cosmos announced it will publish SUICIDAL INSTINCT in their 2011 Anthology and they will also include a second story of mine SUICIDE REDEEMED [a partner story to Suicidal Instinct] I WILL ACTUALLY BE IN A BOOK. . .YOU CAN PUT IT ON YOUR SHELF!

V
May 2010 This moment lasted the rest of 2010. I hired a personal trainer and started hiking. Exercise is truly the fountain of youth for my mind and body.

VI
I lost 25 pounds. Do you know how much this is? I am still amazed at the difference in my body!

VII
My nephew joined the Navy. He has to finish High School, but then he's off to be a Mineman!

VIII
The Celebrate Recovery group I started in 2008 boomed from 4 members to twelve in what almost seemed overnight. It's no longer my group, but OUR home ;0)

IX
I launched a blog for the CR group at FCC, tenderly titled: His Path to Recovery. Check it out crfcc.blogspot.com

X
Even though Grandad, passed away. God gave me a gift in June: The rare and timely opportunity to spend a few days with him in his VA home. I have not seen him that many times over the years. That visit helped me through his death. . .Somehow I knew when I left him in June, that that was the last time I'd see him. . . until we walk the Golden Streets of our Father city, Zion. {Thank you to my Saviour, my perfect love}

What are some personal top ten moments for you in 2010?
