I have much to be thankful for this week.
~*My friend, Lynn Rush, facilitated a writer's retreat and took me with her. ~*Grandma and Grandtom, in their 80's, are on a trip to Florida!
~*I won a limerick contest.
~*I received a 98% on a test in my law class.
~*My Granddad is doing well, despite being 91 and just out of the hospital.
~*A girl hit me today -- her Civic ramming the back of my Explorer as I went through an intersection -- we both are physically okay!
~*During a recession I received a new position at work.
~*My Dad called me :)
So, Word Wednesday is just Praise to the Author of life and LOVE. My knight in Shining Armor, Jesus Christ.
Sing a new song to the Lord,
for He has done wonderful deeds.
He has won a mighty victory
by His power and holiness.
The Lord has announced His victory
and has revealed His righteousness
to every nation!
He has remembered His promise to
love and be faithful to Israel.
The whole earth has seen the
salvation of our God.
Shout to the Lord, all the earth;
break out in praise and sing for joy!
Sing your praise to the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and melodious song,
with trumpets and the sound of the ram's horn.
Make a joyful symphony before the
Lord, the King!
Let the sea and everything in it
shout His praise!
Let the earth and all living things join in.
Let the rivers clap their hands in glee!
Let the hills sing out their songs
of joy before the Lord.
For the Lord is coming to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with justice,
and the nations with fairness.
Psalm 98 NLT

What a wonderful post! Thanks for putting a big smile on my face. Congrats on all the good things, and I'm especially happy that you are ok after your accident! Blessings, my friend!
Congrats to you on your test and winning the contest! And glad to see you're alright after that accident.
I love Psalm 98...
Thanks Billy and Tracy. What a great day to Praise the Lord, eh?
You two are the best :)
Amen, and bless you for finding the positive in even not-so-good circumstances.
The Psalms are always a source of comfort to me, so thank you for this post.
Thanks, Kat! I like the Psalms too. Can find any one of them to match my need . . .Thank you for your comments :)
Okay KM, I finally just had to meet you. I have seen your face on Billy's blog, Tracy (Seed Thoughts) and Travis and maybe one or two others, not sure and then today I saw you on Facebook. LOL.
So today I decided to take the time to introduce myself to you so that hopefully we too can become friends through Christ. My name is Sarah, middle name Cecilia. I blog just like so many others and I enjoy making new friends and learning from them.
I met another through Billy's blog that I've seen so often and her and I have had an awesome friendship since.
I love your photo here of the woman praising while under the darkness that surrounds here. And yes, it looks like you have much to be grateful for. After reading your post and list of things that happened; I would say you are quite blessed.
I hear the phrase 'Word Wednesday' a lot through other sites, but have never asked what it entails...
Your new song to the Lord is awesome. I love it! Anywho, nice to meet you! In His name,
Sarah Cecilia
Oh, and my week??? It was very, very good. Thanks for asking at the end of your posting. :D
God is not finished with us yet - I like it! Sarah Cecilia, It is so nice to meet you. I've seen you around the blogsphere!
Word Wednesday for most means word games . . .I kinda did a spin on it and made it the WORD :)
I've stopped by your blog, I'll have to visit more and say, Hello!
I'm glad your week went well. I hope your weekend does too! :)
WOW. What a week!!!
Great verses too.
Yeah, awesome job on your test. That's fantastic. God is workin' in you my friend.
thanks, Lynn :)
Hey Gzusfreek,
That's too bad about the car accident! First your laptop, then your car :(
I'm reading Hebrews still. The first two chapters definitely proclaim Jesus as more than an angel and fully God!
Brandon, I'm reading Hebrews this week too. LOL. . .(see next post)
I agree and love the fact that it shines light on Him as more than an angel . . . I have so many around me that think he was just a "great guy".
Hope you are well!
Thanks for stoppin'
