R. J. Anderson’s Faery Rebels: Spell Hunter Christian Science Fiction and Fantasy Blog Tour

R. J. Anderson’s Faery Rebels: Spell Hunter Christian Science Fiction and Fantasy Blog Tour

I read John W. Otte's post on the tour tonight. He really got me thinking about this cover. I love the picture, but John W. Otte made me think about it and, if it were on the shelf at B and B, I wouldn't have purchased it. I don't think I would have picked up the girlie girl from the shelves because  she calls out to a younger audience and  -reminds me of FernGully meets The Littles-

Now, this cover I might pick up. It is the same book sold in the UK with a different title and a different cover. I think the title helps too. Knife. Ever heard of a faery called Knife? I've got to hear her story.

So judge not this book by it's US cover, but its UK cover and head over to Amazon.
(Thanks again to John for sparking this discussion.)

I'm so diggin that other cover more, and the name, Knife. SWEET! I'm a big fan of one or two word titles. LOL.

Nice post

I thought my net buddies would agree that the UK cover would more likely tempt them than the US, so I had to post it! :0)

I was thinking the same thing about Fern Gully. But when you added "meets The Littles" I nearly spit my water across the room.

:-)

I'm with you on the UK cover.
