I wrote this just after watching a young man spontaneously give his life to Christ in baptism:
Your Call
He walks down the aisle to Your call
No body language or expression can compare
The man who is about to give his life to You.
A new bride’s face is not brighter
A grooms face shows no more longing
Than the man who is about to give his life to You.
The new believer walks in fear
Not of You
Fear of living life without you
And peace, fearfully and wonderfully open before You
The saints that escort the new convert
Another inexplicable event
The joy on their face the confidence in their walk
How beautiful the feet
How beautiful the face
The man who gives his life to the Lover of his soul.
