Phantasmagorical Freek Friday is all about musicians, groups, and songs glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ. PFF was designed to showcase metal/goth/alternative/hard rock artists who give Jesus Christ glory.
ILIA
All female Christian Rock
Mantra
reaching the world for Jesus one stage at a time
CLICK HERE to go to Ilia's myspace and listen to this head bangin, screamin Christian Rock band. I love their lyrics. They are out right Christ centered.
The vocalist has not convinced me, but she can scream with the best of them -rock on, sister! The band is tight. I could listen an ILIA instrumental all day long!
If you have time let me know what you think if this up and coming crew!
What are you listening to this week?

Ok, listening right now. Not as screamy as I thought they'd be. Pretty good. I agree about the instrumental, for sure.
What I've been listening to--still on my Creed binge :).
I'm also not convinced about the vocalist, but I think it's a matter of bringing her out of the basement.
She's singing too low. I like the style of her voice though. Musicianship is good.
I'm listening to Skillet's new one. Monster is awesome!
Uh huh, there's me girls
- Kat Heckenbach - I loooove Creed. Can never get enough. I wonder if we could find an instrumental?
Good point Kat Harris, bring her up a little. They've got a good thing started. Ilia is looking for a guitarist. Know one? Skillet's new one - gotta get it!
Were three K's in a metal pod :)
Nothing new I'm listening to. Same old same old. Enya and Josh Garrels...oh, and William Lane Craig podcasts...
Whoa...they were screamin' huh? LOL.
Not my type of music, but the words, you're right....
I'm listening to THE AFTERS lately. Never going back to OK. Love that song. It's on repeat on my iTunes. LOL.
Brandon. Like your music choices :) Enya, Josh -- I haven't heard of William Lane...Have to check him out.
Lynn. . .pretty heavy Ilia, but I'll have to try The Afters, what a great name :)
Yeah, Ilia is pretty good. They don't really scream that much. Not as bad as Flyleaf, anyway.
Lately I've been listening to Falling Up's latest CD, Fangs. It's good, but not as good as their last one. Oh, yeah, and I've been listening to Children 18:3, they're pretty much the awesomest thing since invisible kool-aid.
I love Flyleaf and you are right Lacy Mosley is a screamer LOL
Ilia has potential for sure!
Falling Up? There is another one to research!
Children 18:3? What a great name!
The following comment has to be the coolest comment in blogspace!: "they're pretty much the awesomest thing since invisible kool-aid."
I agree with Chris, Falling Up is a good band. They came and played at our church once.
